Welcome to the BLACK & WHITE COLLECTION. During this challenging time of living through a pandemic, I found my creativity evaporating – it's hard to be inspired during such difficult times. But I created a project for myself: I would create a wall mural consisting of 12 - 16 individual black and white paintings. Each one created as time and mood permitted. I also challenged myself to use only black and white paint to see what I could create using only these 2 colors.

I truly enjoy creating skies with multiple shades of blues, greens, turquoise, white and on and on. The blending produces a visual that is delightful to my eye. I’d love to sit on the top of a mountain in this magical place I’ve painted.

Here is an island, off in the distance, bathed by the light of an early morning sky. But imagine, when day is done and the night floods the sky… all around you is black but for the light of billions of stars. Lie on the beach at Starlight Island and gaze up to the skies and be amazed….
